Tommy!!!! I'm next door in central Bama (Roll Tide!!). Have done multiple searches and never seen your videos. Today, YT just recommended you. I just purchased a '22 GTS 300. I see you have several Vespa videos and I gotta go watch 'em. I've been doing videos on my other rides, but now this GTS is my only ride. Vespa fever is expensive $$$. anyhoo, thanky for the uploads. Good info, enjoyed the video. Don't know software your using to make video, but for me boosting your audio and dropping music volume 40-50% would make your videos even better.

I just installed a tall windshield on my Vespa GTV. I don't know what effect it will have on my gas mileage yet, but it provides amazing protection from the wind and out here. I am concerned about what effects it may have when I encounter strong cross winds.

I have done 2 short rides with both shield with temperatures before 50. What a difference!

Thanks for the comment. I did not have any problems with the cross winds. Any loss of mpg is worth the comfort the tall windscreen provides. Ol Slick

did 13" do a good job for wind pro? if it does then 13" for me. i would not be concerned about mileage or close "no wind" as tall looks kinda goofy.

The 13 does fine with the wind. The 21 does look a little goofy. I removed the 21put it on my 2009 gts 250.

Hi. Thank you so much for the comment. I sold the newer 300 Vespa. The new Vespa used too much oil, and I hated having to add oil every three times I filled up. I kept the older orange Vespa, and put a large windshield and a rack on it and I still have that bike. I enjoy taking the little Vespa out for country rides. Thank you for commenting.

Was the wind the same both days? The first day you said the wind was so strong it was blowing a rider all over the road. That could hurt mpg quite a bit and make the comparison tough to make unless wind conditions were the same.

Thanks for the comment. If you get a chance to rewatch the video please see that the day the wind was real bad was when I was riding at the Memphis scooter rally. I rode back to Blue Mountain a few days after that on a less windy day to make the comparison. You are correct that had I been doing a mpg ride at that windy scooter rally it would not be a fair comparison. Thanks for watching. Ol Slick

With the large windscreen, you feel no wind. I sold that Vespa and kept the large windscreen and put it in my 2007 GTS 250. This is my cold weather bike😆. Thanks for replying.
