I found when offering it up to my 2021 Sei Giorni that the speedo cables Robot mentioned got caught-up at the molding to clear the clip. Cutting out a half inch section on the top edge allowed the mud flap to seat snugly . Very helpful video. Many thanks.

One of the best ways to avoid the badly protected (at factory) join that always rusts out. Another way is to fit paint protection film over the entire splash zone area as soon as you get the scooter from new.

So: I ordered one of these a week ago, and it arrived today…but my beloved SuperTech, which has been at the dealer since yesterday with an odd problem, was supposed to be back today, but Piaggio apparently just announced there being an issue with the fuel pump in my model (among other HPE models, I presume), so I have to wait until that gets handled.

I just finished reinstalling the front fender on my generic scooter omg what an ordeal! It is a two part assembly I nearly cried but I got there. I removed it originally because I wanted to install fork gaiters. Anyways it was a struggle but we'll worth it to give extra protection to the fork seals.

Brake cleaner will destroy painted surfaces, might I suggest something a little less toxic like alcohol.
