2011 Vespa Quarantasei concept, based on the 1945 Vespa MP6 prototype unveiled at the 2011 EICMA motorcycle show. (I made a mistake by calling the 946 prototype a MP6.
November 2012 EICMA motorcycle show the production 946 was unveiled.
2013 the Original 946 was sold in Black or White, in the USA the price was $9460

the 946s are beautiful. Very elegant designs, with a robust price tag to match. Sad that they were heavier and slower than the GTS. I cant imagine dropping 24k for the Diors , lol.

Still only ever seen one here in the UK back at the motorcycle show in 2013 looking on the Midland Scooter Centre website they have one used one for sale and theres a Christian Dior edition on ebay at £47,500 yes 47 GRAND!!! (thats a 0 miles scooter with the helmet and accessories) Cool look round one thanks Robot.

This Dec. I be stop riding my 07 PIAGGIO MP3 250IE because of Tilting lock brake pads need to be replaces I been looking for video show how to work on it but NO Video for it!! Mr. Robot

Great design. Bobber scooter. Just too expensive and no 300cc engine. Scooter version of a Ducati 916.

Must be me, I do not understand why Vespa sticks to this retro inspired design. After all 1946 is almost 80 years ago and times have changed... If you are used to Honda and BMW quality Piaggio products disappoint, talking from experience...
