I greatly appreciate this video and I know there's a lot of comments here because people love you you are one of the main reasons why I have a GTS 300 HPE in my garage... I wish I lived in San Diego but instead I am on the West Coast of Florida I have ordered a lot of stuff from the shop and will continue to do so, however because it's nice to have a piece of your place on my Vespa I hope you will do a lot more these journeys and what you just did there was epic... 50cc in the sand... Just crazy but thoroughly enjoyable thanks for everything you do for the Vespa community

Thumbs up for you just for the effort alone and the insane amount of planning and time it took you to put this video together. Anything from 50cc to 2,000cc's...doesn't matter to me I ride them all. I have taken long trips on a Tomos Moped and Honda Ruckus before and had a whole lot of fun. The Ruckus with it's semi-knobby tires would of handled that soft sand a whole lot better than that Vespa did. You can have a lot of fun on a 50cc scooter and this just proves it.

What an adventure! I am a recent owner of a GTV 250. Used to ride to Julian and along S-2 on larger cruisers but not in 25 years. Old 80 through Plaster City was broken and pot hole ridden even then. Can’t believe they haven’t fixed it up yet. New suspension must be better than mine as I can hardly stand riding the old GTV on choppy roads. Anyway, who’d a thought a 50cc motor could make a trip like that, especially in the sand. Well Done!

Very fun to watch this desert ride, and see small town from your POV. I live in Sweden, and this desert enviroment is just stunning for northern people as myself. I never see this kind of stuff earlier. And I'm a big fan of Vespa's. I own a brand new ET4 from -97 in the old days of the 90:s, and also had a PK125 Automatica from -85. Not fuel effecient at all! Haha.. Now I ride both a Honda Shadow VT600 from -88 and a Peugeot Trekker 50 cc from -98. But I'm dreaming of getting a GTS300 HPE later in the future. Keep this kind of clip coming too. Except all interesting clips from your store/shop! Thank's for putting these kind of clips up!

Start small and see if its fun. I am planing a 1300 km tour with my 50 Sprint. First thing I signed up for a motoring association for roadside assistance. Then did a 100km tour to see if its fun. Next a 250 km tour to see how far I can get in one day and how long I can sit on the Vespa. After feeling fine I did a last test with 150 km fully loaded to test the handling, the iPhone mirror mount and if the navigation is working the way I like it. Also wanted to see if the Flyscreen and luggage mounts were good. Installed the Michelin Tyre Monitoring System. Bought a small 1.5l extra fuel tank. Also wanted to test the capacity of the bags. Check for a glove box bag, very handy for the bottle, power bank and cables. Depending on the weather, maybe bad weather clothing, like under armor cold gear, rain covers for the bags and the shoes! If you have a jet helmet with a short shield consider a long shield. Hope this helps.

This bike has the malossi ecu installed. It’s our shop demo bike so we probably won’t get too crazy with the mods. The 50cc Vespas are pretty rare here in CA. We even did a video offering free installation of all the performance upgrades and no one stepped up! Hopefully we’ll get a candidate scooter to install everything on!

@@VespaMotorsport I would have stepped up but I live in France. I HAD to purchase a 50cc since the insurance companies here won't accept my US or Canadian driver's licenses, or my AAA International license. I didn't want to go through all the red tape to get a French license. So, I settled for the 2020 Primavera 50cc , glossy black. I upgraded it to the max - touring package, top case, etc. I ordered all the performance upgrades and some extra from you guys and installed everything myself. Thanks for the detailed videos!!!
