The Felo Smart Handle pretty much nailed it. I've used mine with the CentroFix too for the last few years because of you.

The ANEX bit holder blade, shown at 8:11, is the FIRST and ONLY bit holder I've ever seen that seems to work like the WERA Rapidaptor: no need to manipulate the collar when inserting a bit (auto locking) + pushing the collar out instead of down to unlock the bits (as per the natural movement of your fingers to catch them after ejection). Wondering if ANEX makes short ones?

You should mention that the felos use proprietary bits. The vessel doesn't and neither does the annex if you buy the adapter. A lot of people don't want to carry around proprietary blades.

I don't think that's correct.... At least mine can use normal bits as well....

I carry the Craftsman V-Series version of that USAG 333 for work every day and I love it (Mostly because it feels very solid/comfortable in the hand and the ratchet mechanism is quite smooth). I use the longer quick-connect 1/4" bits kept on a belt carabiner instead of having to unscrew the stubby every time I need to change bits + they're easier to remove).

This Usag ratchet driver 333K is pretty well made. Rock solid. The Felo smart driver is kind a standard bench mark of this kind of tool. Nice video! Tks Regards from Brazil 🇧🇷

Thank you for this. You seem to be correct about the fiddliness of the Vessel. The bit holder is going to be wobbly because it's short. I think it may stronger than it appears. The handle may be flexy, but the hinge goes all the way through the handle, like a breaker bar. Like you say the bolt holds the handle together. The force of the shaft is perpendicular to the the bolt and the bolt is perpendicular to the handle. It definitely might not FEEL as good to use though. I would be worried about the red locking collar moving around in either position.

The Gedore 3300025 (made by Carolus) looks pretty interesting being a ratcheting convertible T handle. The trouble with these things is you switch it to T mode when you need to apply some real torque, and then it's slow having to keep repositioning your grip as you saw when driving those hooks. The reason I haven't got one is I'm not so sure how the ratcheting will hold up, and it's too expensive to take a chance on because it comes with a load of bits and a case that I don't need.

That "flash on the mold" is what I fix for a living lol. I'm a laser welder.

The usag is an exact copy of my craftsman v series. Probably has the same gasket ring for the bit storage. I bought two of them at Lowe’s for $20 each on Christmas special.

I have the Felo smart handle, but I prefer the fixed or ratcheting ones. The wera T handles are my favorites. This convertible ones are not designed for high torque, except the ones without the hinge. Oh, and I also use pistol grip ratcheting ones. In general when it comes to T handles I prefer the ratcheting ones

I grabbed a Felo during a price drop (great handle!) and been hoping to get an Anex 3350, hopefully this video will inspire a price drop 🤞

Festool makes the "HD D 18 CE" for their Centrotec system. Been using that one whenever I needed to screw in a hook. It's made somewhat differently to the ones you showed and worked well for me so far.

Ks tools has one which is ratcheting and holds bit internally as well

I picked up the Anex on a whim in Japan and like it a lot, really useful for small tool bag. I was looking to see if i could get another here in the UK and of course you can't really get Anex here. I did find a KS Tools version too, with a ratchet mechanism and bit storage to boot. I'll probably pick one up.

The VESSEL 400PD2 shaft looks identical to Proxxon 22283 Combination bit/socket screwdriver 1/4", with the 1/4 sq to 1/4 hex mechanism look.
