If the MOSFET has gone faulty also check the 56uf @ 160v next to the white LED backlight power connector, if that component is faulty it will blow the mosfet you have just changed (as I have just found out) .

Hi, i'm trying to repair this board and was happening the same thing as you, i put a new mosfet and was backlight on for a seconds and then mosfet just blew up, i suspect that also is the capacitor faulty. do you thing if i put a higher capacitance cap, i mean, 68uf instead 56uf can cause a bigger damage to the board and again a blown mosfet?

@@user-dc7eh2qj6v yes, i replaced both, the capacitor and the mosfet, and then backlight was working perfectly fine.

Not everyone is as good as you, or maybe you are getting instruction from the cat :-D I did fix a technica LCD19_32 vestel set for a frend 3 years ago. (still ok) Tv's are not my thing but... a frend. The psu board (17PW20V2) had two blue poly 15Nf caps +mosfets driving a transformer with 400v. Caps were dead as a dodo. I imagine you have done buckets full of this type of psu.

Hi I found a Digihome 32" smart TV in the skip decided to try and fix it so far bought new power board still the same very dim leds bought new strips of leds same result very dim leds. The main board is vestel 17mb211s what other number do I need to ensure exact replacement as there are so many different models. Can you suggest the possible problem with the leds being very dim, many thanks for the videos.

You seem to have covered most angles. New power board and led strips. If you plugged the new powerboard into the old strips first it could have shorted out the new powerboard. There should be a 23 number on the main board. That’s the number you need.for that.

@@allenfleckney5969 shorted out pins 3’5’7 thru 10k resistor to power/on pin 11 all leds came on bright looks like new motherboard.
