I work in a restaurant and we had a lady complain about a seeing-eye dog ( not like this though). It had a harness on and was clearly working, but the lady complained about her allergies and threatened to call the health dept. We explained that we were required by law to allow service dogs per the ADA. She said she was leaving and never coming back, and we said "Have a nice day!"

I have allergies. I would never tell someone they can't have their service dog. I have two options, choose a seat away from the dog, or leave, that simple. I pray people can be kinder to each other, this is crazy. This person's blindness trumps my allergies. Besides, unless someone is extremely allergic they should be fine for 20 or 30 minutes. If someone is extremely allergic, I guarantees you they would be getting out of that place asap, no time to complain.
