The 2016 Veterans Day Parade in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco on November 13, 2016. This is one of the smaller of the San Francisco parades, and it seemed slightly smaller than usual this year, although that may be my imagination. There were a lot of high school marching bands and drill teams, and honestly no offense meant to them, but I got a little impatient watching each one go through their routine and eventually took a stroll down the street for the latter part of the parade.
The weather was good: sunny, around 63°F, with almost no wind to speak of. It had been foggy earlier in the day, but the fog dissipated well before the parade started.
Most of the participants were announced by the MC and/or had signs, so it is obvious who most of the participants are in the video. I added some captions in a few places where it wasn't completely obvious.
The photography was a little difficult for this parade because the main viewing area was in the shade, with white buildings in bright sunlight behind, which was not good for camera lighting. In addition, the little generator powering the PA system was rather noisy.
