My Dad served in the Portuguese military for 4 years from '62 to '66. He never fought in any war BUT was close to going to the Angola when my Mom married my Dad for there was a law that stated that married men could not go to war. Thanks to Dad for serving in the military and Mom for marrying Dad to avoid being in the war. Mom did the most strategic move EVER in her life. Thanks, Mom!!!!

I worked on Harriers in the Marine Corps. I worked on the McDonnell Douglass designed B and II+, they still used the Rolls Royce Pegasus engines. Nice shave, Ken, and thanks for the shout out to all the vets.

In Desert Storm I got hot water from the field mess most mornings for my canteen cup so I could shave. I brought with me shave soap and a boar brush, and a crummy razor...this was long before I switched to a DE razor.

Thanks for remembering Ken. My son served in Afghanistan and I'd like to thank all of the vets that's served our country. Thanks also for showing us such a great razor and for letting (me at least) know where the name of the soap came from, I'd never heard that before and it's explains where (again to me, I guess most folks probably already knew) the name of the soap came from. Great vid as always.

Great shave. One of my classmates from high school is in the Army and has been with them since graduating from school. I wish him the best. A janitor that worked at my high school served in Vietnam and has to wear hearing aid at all times due to hearing loss from constantly having to hear gunfire and explosions. I also thank him for his service

I like this video! I missed it throughout the year I was not well in November last year I am a wounded warrior so I am playing catch up. John Frum is one of my favorites as far as scents, reminds me of a musky Yardley English Lavender and I love the splash it burns with the Kava Kava and numbs so nice! The brush is wonderful, vegan and the way prefer every shave; same with soaps. You done well with this one. Cheers to all the veterans, keep marching!

Hi Ken! Great shave, and beautiful razor 😁👍 one of those vintage Aristocrat adjustables with the case is also on my list. I’m also awaiting my FatGuy Aristocrat to arrive from GSC, very much looking forward to it. As for recommending a show/movie, I do like “Downfall”, “The Expanse” is also a fantastic series though I’m still in the middle of season 4, and their “Das Boot” series is good too (or is that one on Hulu? Can’t remember).
