Thing as to why Beards generally are not allowed. Gas Masks. If you are in a combat area with threats of chemical warfare. A beard could get you killed. Now beyond that. Yeah. You can have facial hair. Just needs to be trimmed and maintained. Overall.

We had 29 kids in my class so I was always alone and had to bring all books(and they were heavy) It was winter, early in the morning, I went on my little trail to the bus station, I slipped and fell on my backpack 🎒 but because all the warm clothes I couldn’t stand up or turn, so I was laying on the snow like a turtle. And I was very lucky that my father was on his way to work, like 40 min later. 😂

As a sub aganger, the only time I got "time off" for being sick was when doc forced me to stay in the rack because I had strep. I was allowed to eat from "my" plate and drink from "my cup after everyone else was done. I wasn't allowed to stand watch. I was only allowed to shower the hour before wakeups for watch turnover. I felt like a complete POS for getting strep.
