7:00 rated for a crap ton, you heard it folks, this thing ain’t breaking unless you wanna pull down a frickin redwood. Anyway, keep it up vts I love your vids and for me it feels like an online apprenticeship almost. Watching your vids has really helped me learn so much and also helped me understand more about tree physics. It really helped me realize what I want to do when I graduate and a job to love.

How about some straps on the Maple trunk like they do for logging Cedars before doing a low face cut on that multi-stem trunk? I appreciate you recording theses sketchy blow down jobs, that's most of the "tree work" I do since the local parks don't take down perfectly good trees.
@VeteranTreeService2 ай бұрын
Even strapped up, I didn't want to be anywhere near that death trap when it started coming apart. 😎

Looked like a fun one. I like that pull handle on the 661. Where did you order that from
@VeteranTreeService2 ай бұрын
♥️ I randomly found it. I think it's called Cobra pull handle.

Hello Tim, thank you for last message on my dead tree instructions you said will help me tremendous 👍, can you be honest with me what is the Normal charge to climb tree what you do to take dead branches out of it leave good ones there, instead me buying tree gear

It also buddy you could have tied your pull rope around both stems just to be safe but your way worked fine God bless

Does JBLM not have a bucket truck? With all that equipment on site you would think they would have at least one bucket truck for you to use. If not tell them to buy one 😂 we all know they love to waste $ on other less important items
@VeteranTreeService2 ай бұрын
I've never used a bucket before. They have one but it's only like a 30 footer.

Always wondered what you do/did in the military. I've been on several C17s. Always in the Middle East though.

👍 I make sure the C-17 stays working correctly. If it's broken, we fix it.

And just my opinion buddy you don't have to listen to me anytime I have a decent back leaner I always put a wide open face notch but hey your way works it's just my opinion you can try it you might like it better God bless
@amberruby48962 ай бұрын
I do the same and was taught to put the back cut below the Scarfe when pulling with a machine. This keeps the butt locked in against itself and lowers the risk of the hinge snapping off and the tree twisting of the stump.

Each brand has it's own models that really shine, what I look for most is power to weight. I love my ported 562 but I am intrigued by the 590 and it just might be my next saw.

@@VeteranTreeService My 562 with a stihl bar is like 4 lbs lighter than my 462. Both running 28" lightweight bars. It rips!
