I had my baby to the vet few weeks ago she couldn’t walk was like she was very drunk she was in pain….. the vet wanted to put her down and said she was very sick they give her a meningitis jab and some medication she’s fine now but she did have a runny nose for awhile but I don’t think the vet had a clue what they were looking for and said they were limited to what they can do for a ferret

Something I should have mentioned: not all vets are knowledgeable about ferrets. It can be difficult to find ferret-knowledgeable vets, but it’s definitely worth it when you find them! I know a few people that drive a couple hours to their vet to make sure the vet they go to is knowledgeable.
