Veterinary Scissor Sharpening using the Wolff Industries Hire-To Flat Hone

I don't do many surgical tools however I have a few loyal veterinarians that I sharpen surgical scissors and clipper blades. I have had very good results sharpening freehand on the flat hone. ‪@sharpenrightservicesllc‬ ‪@wolffindustries‬

Great job - many scissors can require specialized sharpening equipment & special skill. I've had very good results with everyday, household scissors/shears working with the attachment for my KO-3. Did you use a piece of scrap leather to pull the burr off before going to your finishing grit abrasive? I've seen felt pads that attach to a work bench to remove the burr, and of course corks...

I like using a piece of leather for small thin burrs.
