Great videos my 1 major tip that has been so HELPFUL - switch to filtered water - I use my Berkey water filter and it made such a difference , my dog used to have very obvious tear stains . Since switching the water back in 2020 tear stains no more . Tap water is often full of so many dangerous chemicals , filtered is best , if you don’t have a filter bottled water would also help . Also of course healthy natural diets

Your videos are so informative. And I just love your dog. Do you have any recommendations on what to do for stud tail by any chance? I learned about this too late unfortunately. My chihuahua has one and it looks like a cyst. It's swollen. I had taken him to two vets and they didn't even tell me what it is, just told me it wasn't anything to worry about. I'm just recently finding out that's not necessarily true. I've been putting benzoyl peroxide shampoo on it twice a day and a topical antibiotic, but it's not going down. I love my little guy so much and he has all kinds of compiled issues -- collapsing trachea, luxating patellas, dental issues, sluggish thyroid (which a glandular and tincture seem to be helping), and now this. Stud tail, which I had never even heard of.

My one year old dog seems to have a tooth abscess, his one side of his mouth was very swollen and now the swelling moved to under the eye, with tears, most likely has an infection. Kibble fed dogs get tear staining whereas naturally fed dogs rarely have the staining. I used to foster poodles for an organization and after a month with me, eating raw and gently cooked home recipes (balanced recipes that are carnivore centric of course because dogs are carnivores). Currently, my white miniature poodle eats a lot of beef recipes with a lot of heme iron and zero tear stains. It is my opinion that the iron (ferrous) sulfate added to kibble is a major cause of the staining whereas natural form iron in meat is not a problem. Kibble contains a lot of bad stuff that may simply cause excessive tearing in general that then keeps the hair under the eyes moist and welcoming to reddish bacteria. Just sayin'
