Great video as always. This is one of the few chanals where I can see some very useful tools without someone cursing every 30 seconds thinking it is somehow cool.

The whole video was was good but learning about that Jam bar was the best part of the video for me. I can’t believe I didn’t know such a thing existed. I paused the video and ordered a set off Amazon and came back. Thanks for saving me a lot of cursing in the future lol.

Just wanted to let you know that even 2 years later, this video is useful. I was looking for an idea to replace my electrical bag, went to check comments at the end of someone’s video and wound up here on my phone before I realized. Knowing how much more space is needed for plumbing stuff over electrical, and seeing as my bag is just a bit too small for my current uses I’ve been dealing with for years.. I’m really liking the thought of this bag for when I’m doing runaround maintenance repair jobs. This video is definitely helpful, especially thinking about other things to use inside the waterproof container. Thanks, also. The fact that you’re wearing a Festool shirt and like knipex is an instant sub, wether or not you’re still active on here.

Great video, I got several good ideas from it. You are a real professional who invests in his tools and equipment, I truly respect that.

They are great , I use mine for plumbing repairs too . I tend to prefer closed bags , keeps out snow , slush etc ! Good ideas , as usual !
@MillisConstruction
@MillisConstruction 3 жыл бұрын
I like the closed ones also but man sometimes with plumbing I’m fumbling around reaching for tools in my bag from under a sink or something and it’s nice to have everything accessible. Only issue I have with this one is it needs to be about 4” bigger 😅

@@MillisConstruction Don Veto now makes a bigger version , nice bag about 4” longer , better dividers , a tad bit deeper . Saw one in the flesh , nice bag .

@@MillisConstruction the other issue with open topped bags is thieves , and jackasses who “ borrow “ , for “ a couple minutes “ . I usually wear a 21” asp on my belt ( late calls in sketchy Hoods ) , I tend to sanction such antics . An attack on my tool = an attack on my livelihood , = justification for high levels of force .

Love this video! I got to get me one of those Basin Buddies! I hate coming across those plastic nuts that can't be turned. I've practically tore them apart trying to get them to move!

That dumbbell shape 1/4 turn wrench 1/2” one side 3/8” other side Is great for double angle stops and if you didn’t know, try the 1/2” side for shower arms , works great

Not any that are really fantastic in my opinion, I use a systainer toolbox and it’s working out ok. Probably very similar to your setup. Happy New Year!!

@MillisConstruction

Those are the Mechanix gloves with the kind of spandex grip around the wrist instead of their normal straps. I like them quite a bit. They’re the thinner versions of their gloves also.
