Thanks for making me watch out the window for the UPS guy even more now. That’s crazy that they are sooo identical but 2 lbs different. Who knew D-Rings weighed so much 😂 I think the tape measure holder supposedly works better for holding the TP pouches like the TP4B and stuff. That’s another nice thing for me if it does cause I can carry my bags together at one time if I need too. Thanks for the vid!

Right??? Lol I hate when you have to just watch the tracking and nothing changes!! When is your expected to come in? D Rings all day every day. Made from cast iron 🤣😂🤣 But I would venture to say that it being up higher would definitely help the 4B. Will have to watch you channel to see how it does man! I have another buddy at work who wants a tier 2 bag, and I want the blackout TP4B lol dude have the murdered out bags together would be pretty cool 🤘🏻

I love the blackout more then the OG, the pivoting handle and the VSwap is a game changer imo 👍

How much do you think the meter side Vswap panel weighs? I have the tech mc but was thinking about getting the mct blackout so I can remove the meter panel to keep that side with no pockets and put my meter bag and safety gloves in that open compartment

I would think not to much maybe a pound or so couple ounces, I can check that for you tho! I know that they make a “bulk storage” panel that’s is just open and has like a plastic backing and base.

@@KoolinwithKrauss the tech mct is 5lbs and the MCT blackout is 7lbs. Do you know what's giving it the extra 2 lbs? Your videos are great, keep up the good work

@@joeynox I just checked the meter panel and it comes in at 1 lb 2.2 ounces. So definitely has some added heft, not so much from the pockets just the actual panel!

Is the blackout MCT much smaller than the tech-lc? I’m stuck on which one to buy. Can you pretty much fit the same amount of tools in both?

The MCT I would say is about 1/3 smaller. You lose a a row of pockets on the width and it’s a bit sizers on the base. If you need the extra space. I’d go with the LC. If you can get down to a minimal amount idk got mct

Another difference, the pockets on the blackout have an extra strip of reinforcing fabric at the top edge and the original’s pockets do not.

On the Tech MCT (original) there are snaps on the front, none on the Tech MCT Blackout!

the snaps are replaced with some kind of strap that holds up the flap like a table. That strap is stored on the top inside pocket

It doesn't have the snaps because it has the new internal pouch how will you be able to fold the cover with stuf in the pocket.
