@samowens44 Thank, I just got mine in, but I don't see the adapter..
@samowens443 ай бұрын
@@jdog434 I know that is disappointing, but that is basic 1/4" Ice Maker line and the adapter fits a basic hose faucet. Any hardware store can help you with selecting on. It may be the quickest way of getting another adapter.

@@jdog434I didn’t get the adapter either! Dang it. Did you figure it out? Any advice is appreciated!
@jdog434Ай бұрын
@Ev_205 Yes, I had to go to Lowes and get it , i believe it's a 1/2 in × 1/2 in threaded male adapter nipple fitting , around $6. Both sides are males

Is there a way you can hook it to a sink? We have one in garage and would like to hook it to the sink faucet
@gregdesanto4 ай бұрын
Yes but you need to ensure you get a model that has an electric drain pump and not gravity fed. You could also buy a 3rd party drain pump
@samowens444 ай бұрын
the answer was given by @gregdesanto for drain, but you can hook the water supply up to the sink at faucet or at the plumbing lines. There is an adapter that can allow you to hook to the sink faucet, go to hardware store and they should help choose one.

@@samowens44 Thanks, but why the electric drain pump versus the gravity one? i just plan on putting the line in the sink in the garage
@samowens444 ай бұрын
@@saramoore3527 The drain hose has to be higher than the drain as the system uses gravity to drain. If that is the case you are ok. Another way is to get a shallow pan and let it drain there and empty it out when full. Try it, if you have problems draining, you got other solutions. The pump would be overkill.

I need help, I can’t put my machine to work automatically
@samowens443 ай бұрын
Not sure what you mean by Automatically. When you push the start button the machine starts making ice and will produce ice until the machine fills up, the the machine will shut off. If you are using the ice all day, it will keep replacing ice until you reach a point you are producing more ice than you use, then it will shut off. Once you remove ice, the machine will start automatically making more ice. There is a deflection bar that moves down on each dump of ice, if the plane is held down by a sheet of ice cubes, that stops the production of ice until the plane is released by to up position. Hope I answered you question.

You can get any inline filter with quick connectors. Just go to Home Depot. I demoed how the connectors release and attach in the video.

Does anyone have a video of how to clean it?
@samowens444 ай бұрын
@rosecalabrese2624 there is a self cleaning feature of the Ice Machine. It is outlined on page 10 of the User Manual that comes with the Machine. You can download the user manual from the Amazon product link. m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91dCKHOHZAL.pdf Follow the procedure. Also periodically change the filter. Look at the entire cleaning process in the manual, more steps after the clean process.
