VEVOR is a Chinese state supported company that is dropping thousands of products on the market at below cost to try and revive their failing export economy. They are using You Tube channels as a way of advertising by sending out samples based on the channel's number of subscribers and it's content. A very effective way of targeting specific groups of buyers. The quality of the samples they send to You Tubers like Nick varies greatly from the products they sell.

Hello Nik, I was chuckling while you were trying to figure out how to set up the drill in the first step, even your cat was trying to show you how, he/she tried three attempts, but you just pushed him/her out of the way, LOL, I hope you got it all figured out by now, hehehe , Cheers from me. all the best. 😃👍👍👍👍👍

Yes, I did figure it out and the sharpener works great. The cats always want to help.

@@NikColyerMachineWorks Just a note, start with the 12mm drill bit, then insert your collet into the chuck at an angle to clip it in then screw the cap on then insert your dill bit into the chuck then insert the chuck into the system to align the drill Parallel to the flat according to the setting of 12mm then turn drill clock wise then tighten the chuck, you should be good to go to the grinding procedure, hope that helps.

I bought the model B. I could not remove one of the two small pins on the web thinning/point splitting hole even using pliers. The pin had obviously been hammered in since its top was peened over. After some time, Vevor customer service recommended removing it with tweezers! I finally removed by heating with a small torch and using vise grips to pull it out. Very difficult. The supplied pins are soft steel and I’m sure the difficult one was bent and pounded in. I replaced them with polished 3mm hard stainless pins that I made my self. Suggesting tweezers was ridiculous. The tool does work very well but I hope I don’t have to contact customer service again.

Truth is I never got that far trying this thing out. Once you got the thing fixed did it work well? NIK

@@NikColyerMachineWorks Yes, very well. Just couldn’t move one of the pins until I replaced them. Not sure I’ll actually change the setting of the pins but I expected my tools to work as advertised.

Old Nick, that free spirited soul living in the 70's is now hawking Chinese tools. Sort of like my favorite episode of Barney Miller where they arrest an anti-war guy who has been on the run for years and he calls one of his old co-conspirators only to find the guy is now an insurance salesman.

Hi Nick, Looks good and I think us engineers are all guilty of trying to work things out befroe we read the instructions. Its all part of the challenge. My cat was watching your cat while I was watching your video and she was quite interested but couldn't work things out when it went off the screen. Yes she is just like yours as she has got to be in on the action all the time. I got rather frustrated yesterday when I was decorating my Christmas tree as she thought it was a game, RRRRR. Vevor are really scraping the barrel with these “.FREE grinders they are shipping out to people like you on KZbin. This is the third or 4 th one in about a Month that is being reviewed. Good luck using it, they seem to do the job well. Regards from Australia
