There are at least 4 brands using this motor and compressor design. Only a few use a moisture trap between the first and second stage. It is condensing water and lubricant which causes the bulk of the malfunctions. I noticed your compressor has the same inlet filter (fan side, upper left corner) as my Spiritech. I modified mine to take a low pressure (2 PSI) ultra dry air. I also keep operation temperature under 30°C.

@keithjurena9319 Thank you for your service. I think all of these cheaper entry level compressors are made with the same parts but slightly different configurations. I think any of these can be fixed rather cheaply if you can find parts, so mostly on Alibaba.

Hell yuhh man glad you got it fixed put some small wire nuts and tape them wire nuts or use butt splice and use a crimp tool 🔧 😉 you know what I mean well glad you fixed it bro 😉 🙌 good deal 80 bucks telling you need them 80 bucks because you had to fix it not them you did

I just visited a friend to take a look at his brand new Vevor. I was expecting the fan to be very loud (from what i hear in the video's) bit this was not the case at all! Or Vevor has replaced the fan for a more quieter fan, or the video's exaggerate the sound a lot.

@Harolddespui When they kick into second gear, the fans on this compressor are extremely loud. They sound like a small jet taking off.

I had pressure in my Challenger And I blew the Pressure disk I think the Gage Like yours! Issue it sounds like yours

Thanks for the info. I need the air hose that runs from top of the moisture trap on the large Air Venturi compressor to the pressure gauge. I see the fill hose for sale at Pyramyd Air but not the one that runs to the pressure gauge. Would you know where I could get one? Thanks for all I have learned on your channel.

@michaelstorm8578 I'm not familiar with that compressor but I have worked with Pyramyd Air a few times. Give them a call. I think they are a licensed distributor and service center for Air Venturi.

So I just got this compressor about 2 weeks ago and the pressure setting gauge like what you worked on here is giving me issues. When I turn the dial the needle doesn't move at all. I have to wiggle and play with the stupid thing to get it to move at all? I contacted Vevor they want me to take a video and send it to them which I will do tonight. That gauge really is a cheap piece of junk.

I have the same exact issue and just got it this week. I haven't even used it yet, I did test it and opened it up to look at the component inside. I say be very careful screwing back in the little screws that hold the covers on. The screw holes threads strips very easy. I have also sent a technical support request to Vevor just today we'll see what they say. Probably will ask for a video as well.

So how is this Vevor holding up. I am looking at this one and the ToAuto only because I found a good rebuild video on the ToAuto. It looks like the Vevo is pretty much the same internals just laid out differently.

Mind all od a sudden had air leaking from the part where the hose connects to the compressor....the guy said it might be the air cylinder that need replaced! Is that the SILVER BOX inside the compressor? Or any idea what it could be? Thanks

@@lamardaniels6625 Could be but on mine that is all one piece and the white plastic piece you are talking about is usually on end that the connecter screws onto. If it is that piece you are golden. Just replace it from your parts bag.

@@bluecollarsportsman613 only topped up my 480cc 3 times, 130 to 270 ISH, takes about 2min 40 secs, so far so good. I intend getting a tank 3L or 6L, as I would like to run it longer, but less frequently, plus have a tank I could take in the car.

@roberttheriot7612 sorry I don't. But it sounds like you are saying it stops pretty quick but if you restart it, it will start to pump and then stop. If this is correct, maybe the power regulator as it's not producing enough power to run the compressor but other than that I have no idea.

@komrad40 I don't remember what that code means. Do you have Vevor's information so you can get it repaired?

E2 is low voltage. This can be from a failing pump, motor, power supply or fuse connection.

The GX-E-CS4 is rated for 5000 psi and is water cooled and fan cooled plus it has a grease valve. Super quiet and runs smooth. Check it out.

Bought one, it died on the second use in less than a week of ownership. They offered me parts and then offered me 1/4 refund. I asked multiple times for a full refund and or exchange or upgrade. Nothing. Do not buy if you value reliability and your hard earned money. Still dealing with Vevor support. Would not buy from this company ever again. Very disappointing. Cheap junk.
