Man, this is the best Masterverse rendition of He-man so far, excellent muscular body, painted apps are top notch, you can appreciate the belt, bracers and chest armor now, the face is a lot better than it was, and the skin color looks like a normal human skin color now. Congrats with the new figure and good review.

In the right lighting looks so good with all that metallic paint. I plan on getting a second one for light customizing. I wanna add a brighter gold highlight to the belt and bracelets like he appears on the show.

they are using this new paint, the finish looks similar to the one on Mando Glavis Ringworld...its a step forward definitely and the figures look way more premium.

Yeah, this is my absolute favorite Heman figure to date. My own opinion- Mattel is finally bringing it. That head sculpt is 1000x better than that 1st monstrosity. The packaging is finally on point as well. Had they been doing it this way from the start-(after the classics line ended)- They wouldve never missed a beat. Battle armor heman New Tri-klops New Trap-jaw New Merman New Faker Clawful Buzz-off Webstor Ect. Just incredible. Hopefully they redo afew of the others-(jitsu, updated mossman, battlecat ect) Overall good stuff

Yeah, it would have been nice. I think they should have just made him Deluxe. Give him a power sword, extra headsculpt, and maybe a couple open hands or something to make it worth the value of a deluxe

I agree with you on head sculpts. its the main reason I havent bought any of the new he-mans yet. i keep waiting for the next design to be just right. Im tempted to just put a Kazaar head on a Hercules body but thats still not it. i was manipulating the hair on a jada toys Ken and that is the best soft plastic/ rubber to use for hair and loin cloths that need to move out of the way for posing.

Definitely in the beat Netflix He-Man, but my default He-Man is the Masterverse exclusive two-pack ones with metal weapons and flocked loin cloth and boots. He's a perfect blend of the vintage figure with a modern aesthetic.

At the 14:00 minute mark I put that Harness , shield and sword on him. I have that 2 pack too and I do like them but don’t feel like they fit in with the rest of the Masterverse figures aesthetically.

Hey Vex N'Toys, great video! Very good close-ups and you have a really good camera! In my opinion the best Masterverse He-Man so far and on a par with the 40th Anniverary He-Man (the double pack figures just don't really fit into the Masterverse shelf in terms of body and aesthetics). One question, where did you get that awesome red stand? ps YES! more of youre customs please, looks amazing!!

Thanks man 🙏 I’m still working on it. Not happy with the stripes and some of the paint came off the joints so I have more work to do on him. But I shaved off a lot of plastic for better range and to make his face look more fierce.

I always said that, if there's anything that He-man should have is a serious tense, good looking face. Just like you're suggesting on the cardboard box painting. Just like the painter "Norem" used to draw or paint him.

Agreed this is the best looking He-Man so far. I'm a casual fan and I gotta say it kind of bugs me that we had to go through all those Revelations figures first and now have to re-buy all the New Eternia figures that look so much better. I pretty much pick and choose and am not certain I will replace all the Revelations figures (only so much $ and space) but I think this one is a yes!

the color of he-man chest piece and torso/arms doesn't quite match. over time the discoloration maybe more obvious. definitely, these are from separate plastic material. but the sculpture are definitely top-notch.

This figure isn't impressive when you first see it but if you absolutely don't have a He-Man this is a great starter figure. And I've seen this figures body sculpt compared the 40th and Revelation...and IMO this is the best. I've seen a custom head on this figure and it looks outstanding...so the face sculpt is the only slight negative(I personally like it). But if you have a custom head..this is the best He-Man for it.

In my review I’m not so negative on the face sculpt. It’s the best face sculpt so far. I just wanna see someone make the face off the box art. Also I don’t think it’s so much the face sculpt but rather the hair. It’s a little flat like he was standing out in the rain. Should be more poofy in the back. My favorite thing is the 40th Anniversary harness works with him and looks great.

@@VexNToys Saw a Tutorial on KZbin showing how it's done. Requires some gear though like a rebreather mask, rubber gloves and stuff but other then that it looked pretty straight forward.

If that’s your scale. I personally don’t care for that scale or the articulation that goes with it. It’s a good looking He-man no doubt but I don’t care about 1/6th scale. Might as well be a statue at that point.

Barbarian He-man is still better. Better headsculpt, most importantly. And for he man that is the most important thing. Just look at movie He-man. Great body but head ruins it.

Personally I disagree and that’s my opinion. I have (barbarian.. do you mean Viking?) He-man. He was my favorite up until now. Also I have the Ramen Toy Dolph head which looks great.

Cmon Vex. Dont be so lazy dude. You didn't want to go get your battlearmor New Eternia He man to compare the differences in the appearance of the metallic armor?! Head sculpts could've been compared. Buck/body compared. Power harness compared. A lot of people watch these reviews on the fly, lunch break, target parking lots, away from home. So the visual side by side comparisons can be valuable and/or appreciated. Whatever is worth doing at all, its worth doing well.

​@@VexNToysI found the color tone of this new figure excellent, the face considerably better (although it could still be improved), the harness and the axe are perfect! But honestly, I didn't quite like the body, as in my opinion, the trapezius muscles are too high. So I think the perfect He-Man would be the face, harness, and axe (including bronze colors on the belt and bracelets) combined with the body from the first "Masterverse" version... but that's easy to customize! Luckily! 😉👍🏻

I think the face would look better if they could get the hair right and less playdoughey. I saw someone use Jada Toys Street Fighter Ken’s hair and that look better.

@@VexNToys Yes, tastes and ideas really vary among He-Man fans. I think it's impossible for any release to please everyone in every aspect. Details that bother some don't bother others, and vice versa. So, the important thing is to know what you're looking for in each figure and to customize it accordingly to each person's particular taste...
