tom wikwayer I'm pretty sure his motion blur is all in-game with some simple direction blur for transitions, but if you watch my "How to Make Games Look More Cinematic" Vegas tutorial, I show how to add motion blur after the fact there. Hope that helps!

in cs go you can export video at any frame rates like 300 fps then make a render with vegas to 30 or 60 fps to get the motion blur. despise the fact that I know the method I was not able to achieve the same result

For all who is having problems finding the P frames: In virtualdub you need to select ffdshow Video Codec then select RGB24 instead of RGBA32 under pixel format

im doing everything right??? no errors or anything. but when previewing it in virtual dub after doing everything, theres literally no datamoshing going on. the video looks exactly the same. other attempts it did work, but barely. is there a way to increase its sensitivity to the datamoshing?

I did this all and even had the 1 I frame and rest P frames and deleted the right part and saved it as AVI and had the message of corrupted file, yet I can play it on windows and when I put it in vdub it doesn't have any datamosh effect, it has the smearing from vdub though, any ideas? am on windows 10

Could you do a video on the best rendering settings? I tried everything and my renders are a bit grainy and and it dont look right, then I upload it to youtube and the compression just makes it looks so bad, compared to other people there videos are so clear and I dont know how they do it

You can achieve a somewhat similar glitch effect in Vegas with third party plugins, but I've found the process is no quicker and doesn't give you a true datamosh.

@@FunnyBone When you select video compression, choose ffdshow video codec. Then on your right you should see two buttons, configure and pixel format. You will most likely see RGBA32 beside pixel format. So you need to click on pixel format and change it to RGB24 which is located just above RGBA32 in the selection menu. Hope this helps.

Coostis it's because it's an avi... Try a 3rd party converter. Although I think it may tamper with the over all reason you're watching this video

You don't need Vegas Pro to do this compression shit, just save your video with a 300Kbps bitrate on any crappy video editor (e.g Windows Movie Maker). Done.
