You can tell this is a kit made by people who have spent loads of time in the hobby. The Origin kit was the best kit I ever assembled. Now I have to go and build my Pro kit.

I wish vanquish would get rid of body clips or hide them. For the price of the kit it would be nice if they made it look more scale out of the box.

That was Hawt !!!! A few years ago the TRX, in my eyes was the pinnacle of an engineered crawler chassis system.... I think you guys just took the "Pinnacle" trophy away from them. The only difference is the price, and the plastic axle housings that I prefer over aluminum, but still, great job Vanquish team.

Hey Josh, I really want to put a Hobbywing Fusion 1800 motor into this build. The motor is 64 mm in length. Do you happen to know how much space in mm this kit allows? Matt from scale builders did a rough measure of 58mm. I'm pretty confident that if you pop the top off the fusion there is room to grind it down. Just trying to work out the specs before even attempting. Thank you kindly.

Ok noob question that's been bugging me for awhile. Everyone says grease every gear transmission or axle but you don't grease the pinion/spur at the motor. Any reason why you don't grease them?

The spur gear is plastic, so it doesn’t have the metal on metal like the others.

Is the only reason for installing the posts the way you did is to make sure the Vanquish logo isn't hidden?

As opposed to installing them with the logo towards the motor plate? If thats what you mean, then yes. Otherwise they are threaded the same on each end, so you could install them any way you like.

That don't look right lol I know it's the right way for the truck but why just a transmission?? Why not put the engine in the front instead of under the trans??? Lol

Because motors are one of the heaviest items in the chassis and putting it in front would make it MUCH higher. The Low center of gravity is a much more capable setup.
