Hey there! I’ve commented on many of your videos and they are so valuable. Took my exam yesterday afternoon and got a 95! It was a weird exam….similar but different than I expected. But I’m not complaining. I owe you thanks for helping get a good score…studying, practice and your videos ….that’s how I did it. Wishing you well…hope to take a lesson or 2 from you if I’m ever out in your area. Never say never!

Thank you for these excellent videos! I haven't been flying for awhile and I'm about to become current again. These lessons have been a great refresher course. In terms of a memory aid for best angle of climb and best rate of climb, I think of the x and y coordinates where Vx will get me up high quickly and Vy represents best rate of climb. It may be helpful for some of us. Thanks!

Some NDB's in Colorado I've heard are still operating, but not charted anymore. The 'old guys' like using them still 😁.

I’ve flown a few of them. They’re kinda fun. If you have the right equipment, you can also use a VOR like an NDB

@@FreePilotTrainingabout a year ago when I started self studying the first training materials I had to study with included a Dallas Ft Worth sectional, not sure the date since that part was cut off, but the workbook was published in the early 80's... And those charts have a ton of NDB's ! I found an instructor in November and now I have 4 hours of flight logged and 1 landing! my instructor is using the Sporty's syllabus and I have 2 practice tests over 90%, so the written should be a slam! I hope to increase flight cadence in the new year. Your videos have made many concepts crystal clear! I don't think I'll ever forget baby rain 🤣
