VFR400 NC30 With Shotgun Race Exhausts

My Honda VFR400 NC30 now fitted with it's 'Shotgun' race exhaust.

Sick exhaust! My VF700's got a little more rasp to it, but the basic sound is the same. 360 degree crank. Your bike sounds like mine on speed though! 14,500! Damn man!!

I got given it by a mate, he got it in the early 90's and has no idea where it originally came from.

It's a V4 not an inline 4. That's why it doesn't sound like it's revving high. Inline 4s scream, V4s growl.. deep.

You have no idea. Novice!? - I race motorbikes. I build race and trackday motorbikes for myself and other people. (I've just built a Daytona 675 from blank chasis to SuperSport spec for my 2012 race season). They can't take it....? Are you serious. Have you seen how many of these V4's are still competing at level with no reliability issues? Do you know exactly what condition this engine was in when it was filmed? No. FYI - this video is probably 4 years old - The bike is still going strong now.

you're a gronk, the honda v4 motors are some of the most reliable bike engines ever made, the straight cut gear driven cams means they literally go for ever and never miss a beat. I have a vfr400r nc24 (older, and way less advanced than an NC30) it has 162,000 KM on it and i still ride it hard at the redline all weekend and take it to the track and thrash the shit out of it. Its 25 years old. The engine has only lost 3 horsepower from the factory. Your the novice mate.
