Dyno run at MADRacing after fitting a Tyga carbon airbox cover and K&N inlay filter. improvement of 1.8 HP and 0.9 Nm without any other adjustments. 66.9 HP at the back wheel and 39.1 Nm of torque
top speed measured on the dyno 6th gear: 209 km/h with a 2 tooth larger rear sprocket

Fabricated it myself from the OEM insert and a K&N from i believe a Mazda 6

Actually, the power was 68 HP on the rear wheel and 39 Nm of torque over a large part off the rev range. To get 83HP you would seriously need to mod it with a lot of (unobtanium) HRC parts and a lotttttt of money. with 68HP it was plenty fast on the streets. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5CbaoJnmrepfKM Riding with bigger bikes they have trouble keeping up in the twisties ;)

They don’t make the small 4 cylinders anymore but I think they are making a cbr400 next year. This is a vfr which is v-4 r, the cbrs have i4s and have a different sound.

It wasn't about the in between power, only last gear mattered. But hey, the guy tuned it to 65 rwhp, probably doesn't know what he is doing .... *Sigh*
