Hi I follow you many years (when I wasn't subscribed too) and your work is fantastic ! I know this video at least 1 year old and not too relevant what I would like to ask but I'm curious about your opinion . Whitch version of ruffalo's Hulk is your favorite? (Personaly and professionally both) My forever favorite is "the" Avengers's and the a. of U.'s one (first two appearance) i know there are some differences between these but too small for me, so I take them as one . In my opinion the film makers (not the c.g.creators) made very big mistake when they want make his look more "Mark" (Although the story didn't change his look*) (*because the end of A. Of U. He (Hulk) goes away and in Ragnarök he (hulk) become very different but nothing changed him (in the story))

You would think that if you made it your life's ambition to work in the world of VFX, that even if you didn't go to a Full Sail-like university, you would school YOURSELF on seminal works in the VFX landscape, even if they're not necessarily your cup of tea. There's really no excuse why someone who works so heavily in the field as Clint would be so far removed from so many landmark films in the VFX industry. It's kind of maddening. Because I know that if I had that interest and I went into a VFX studio's office for a job with such a limited pool of knowledge/reference, I'd likely not get hired. It's like a DP whose never seen or bothered to watch Children of Men or Blade Runner 2049 or a visual director whose never seen What Dreams my Come or If Beale Street Could Talk. And not only has he not seen what feels like %90 of the films they discuss...but he seems actively resistant to the very idea of even taking them in. I don't get it. How did he not only get a job here...but position himself to be in EVERY VFX REACTION VIDEO? Is it a "who you know" thing? I guess some people just live a charmed life...

Something that I appreciate about the 2008 Hulk is actually that muscle definition looks like a man who was literally scaled up with muscle. So it looks like the skin is stretching over what is incomprehensible amount of muscle, and thusly we're more easily seeing the definition of each individual muscle group. Debatable if it looks better or not, but I think I can see what they were going for.

@@CoreyWE Edward Norton's Hulk was the best. Norton planned to take the character in a darker and more interesting direction. I could probably have made the Hulk more interesting than a giant baby gorilla. This Hulk is pure in that it represents anger. No jokes, no mannerisms childish, just pure anger. Another big difference is that this Hulk shows his ability to get stronger the more angry he gets. THE behavior, savagery is how the Hulk should be. Also, I think the 2008 Hulk's appearance fits better. This is, honestly, a of the most underrated comics films. Everything about this Hulk is right. The design, veins and monster appearance. For the first and last time, we see Hulk make his legendary "crush" move. For the first and last time, we see Hulk win a fight and end it with a roar. Man, I really miss the way the MCU made their films back then. A darker and more serious tone added to our dear heroes with a small dose of humor. What I didn't like was the way they handled the Hulk in Marvel movies from Avengers. Hulk has changed, been demoted and nerfed in Marvel films, completely stupid and thrown aside.

Yeah! I just been rewatching parts of it recently, and it is very interesting to see, how much simpler CG was at the time. There are sketchy overlaid shadows, very crude masking and even moments, where parts of dinosaurs clip through each other. But all things considered, it still holds pretty well. The interaction with real-life objects like trees and splashes of water, which were made practically, is particularly incredible.
