Thanks so much for watching, Marc! If there are any issues you can always go to the properties of an image and check the dimensions. Then you can go to a photo editing program liked Photshop or Photopea to resize. The requirements may change as these online tools continue to increase server space, features, etc.

Hey! That’s a great question. You might find different tools and workflows somewhere else but this is basically all of the technical SEO stuff you need to know for Squarespace. I’ve never seen Tiffany’s SEO course so I can’t give an accurate review or assessment. I always think learning is worth it though. Especially with SEO as it has the power to make you money without lifting a finger. And if you ever have questions feel free to hit us up.

In your experience, have you ever noticed if using Squarespace indexes to "stack" pages into one page, hurt your SEO? (presuming you have no-indexed the sub-pages, and optimized the top-level index page for SEO)?

Hey! I believe that as soon as the No index tag is applied you can’t count on that page to help at all in SEO. I haven’t found that using Squarespace ‘hurts’ my SEO efforts at all. Almost all of my large SEO goals in new content categories are achieved within about 3 months of publication which mirrors what I’ve seen on other CMS platforms like Wordpress.

To clarify, I have the no index tag on the subpages, but not the main index page, in hopes search engines only display the main index page in results (and not the subpages, which are snippets on their own bc it’s the only way to have full width image banners mid-page with squarespace 7.0 ). I’m just hoping it doesn’t hurt the ranking of the index page. Do you know what I mean?

Don’t ask yourself what people will type, SEE what they’ll type. For example. Type in bedroom and under that a list Will pop up. Add those from the list.
