"Create tools that help artists"... These people can't understand that anyone will be able to have an AI use them to create whatever he wants, making artists completely obsolete within the next 2-3 years. Want to watch a movie, have your AI assistant create any kind of movie you want. Want to listen to music, just have your AI assistant create whatever kind of music fits your current mood. Want to play a game, just have your AI assistant emulate in real-time any kind of game you want. There will not even be a need to develop a game (asset creation, coding, level design, etc.) in a couple of years. Want a new app to do whatever your current need is, just have your AI assistant create it for you within a few minutes, and have it set it for you to be ready for use.

Exactly. It was a great era, when if you wanted to accomplish something you had to have the passion for it and persistence. People compare this to other tech revolutions, no; every other revolution required some skill. This requires zero skill, you can argue that it takes someone's taste and implementing story, but eventually that will be replaced by better and better ai. It will turn into who has the most money to advertise versus the challenge of making something. I have been studying art and animation for 15 years now, I used to get pleasure and a dopamine hit from finishing and accomplishing, ai gives me no sense of accomplishment, I use it for a little and get almost no sense of accomplishment. The feeling of accomplishment is almost not there.
@curiousrefuge2 ай бұрын
Similar to how photoshop did not eliminate artists, nor with these tools. Great storytelling is what will make artists stand out.
@luvair67652 ай бұрын
@@curiousrefuge Photoshop did not eliminate artists because it still required significant time to learn and skill, this is completely different. Currently Ai requires some skill, but eventually no skill will be required over the next 10-50 years. Human storytelling will eventually be replaced by Ai. There will be a small window of time where human contribution will help the creation standout, but we will reach a point when entire movies are made with a single sentence. Artists will be replaced by individual peoples taste. Everyone will be an artist, so no one will be an artist. No one will care to spend money on your creation because they can make there own with little to no effort. It will become very hard to make money living as an artist, it already has become harder over the past year. Artists will basically become extinct.
