Update: We have found World 4 Skip and an alternative World 2 Skip. This means coinless is much easier now and is possible on all versions without abilities. The alternative World 2 Skip lands Sly on the building and you can actually clip inside without roll on the remaster specifically.

I like the idea of Sly sincerely believing that he’s just visiting old family friends and getting his father’s book back. Like there’s no irony to his intentions, even as he sneaks into these criminals’ lairs; any fight has Sly misunderstanding the villains’ intentions and any time they’re defeated, it’s either an accident or the villain lands themselves into trouble. Even as Clockwork falls into the lava and burns to death, he looks up at Sly’s innocent face and sees nothing but friendly intentions. “Who... what are you?” The orange glow of the magma lights up Sly’s face as he smiles warmly at his father’s oldest and greatest friend, not even blinking as molten embers swirl around his head and Clockwork cries in agony. “Me? I’m Sly Cooper, the friendliest man in the world! Thanks giving my father’s book back, I’ll call an ambulance for those burn wounds right away!”

Alterntative Title: Can you beat Sly Cooper, while going 100% against the whole point of being a master thief, in a FAMILY of thieves? Maybe this is an AU, were Sly hates his family for being theives, yet wants to get his family book back, because it's personal. He had to steal the file in the begining, because no-one trusted him with it, due to his family history. So he had to ironically steal it, because of society. if we're going by semantics then a "coinless" run of Sly 2 and 3 are impossible considering you need to pickpocket from guards and buy gadgets and upgrades to proceed with the game, and considering the missions that instantly fail if you don't do exactly as you're told, there's not really any way around those missions requiring those necessary gadgets.

Here's a challenge that I actually managed to do myself. In Super Mario Bros. 3, beat the game without collecting a single coin. I used the GBA release for this. I didn't have access to the e-reader levels at the time, though. Here are the rules I used: 1. If you collect a coin, you must reload your previous save. 2. You can only save in spots where the GBA version would normally prompt you to during your first playthrough. (After a mini-fortress, after a beating a world, etc.) 3. Using the spiral tower in World 5 as a reusable save point is permitted. You're going to need it with all those lakitus at the end of each stage.. *glares at 5-8* 4. You must beat every hammer bro, action scene panel, etc. in the regular game. 5. You must avoid using powerups unless it is necessary to either avoid coins or beat the stage. Items you collect from Toad houses, etc. may only be used if they are absolutely necessary to avoid coins and only if there isn't a coin-free substitute in the level. (The first mini fortress in World 7, for example.) Use of 1-up mushrooms is permitted. This leads to some very interesting jumps. World 5 will be the toughest area to clear due to Lakitu. :3

If I remember correctly the PS3 emulated ps2 hardware to run ps2 games while the PS2 obviously didn't have to emulate PS2 hardware. To beat Medusa's guard, Medusa, and Hades, you can't use melee attacks (as far as I know. They're air battles). You can probably beat everything else using only melee attacks, and the majority of air battle segments can be done in a pacifist run.

And also you get the Puff Shroom after beating 1-10 And again you get the Cabbage Pult After beating 4-10 And yet again. you CAN beat 1-1 without sunflowers its just... really annoying.... AND AGAIN you put Possible But hard (Sun Shrooms are needed, as for all night and fog levels.) That's a pool stage. Good job. Also 3-5 is different dependant if you are playing the console versions (And mobile) (Little Zombie Big Trouble.) Or DS (Heat Wave.)

@@EWSwot No. I guess you've not played the game? The sly games all have a series of individual, smaller open worlds. But 2 and 3 work differently to 1. Unlike 1, where we just need to clip into the boss fight, 2 and 3 have missions, not levels, which take place in the overworld. You unlock the new world by finishing the last mission of the last. sly 2 world 5, sly 2 world 7 and sly 3 world 3 all have item requirements, along with a bunch of other mid-world ones. You can't just clip past the part of the mission where it's needed because the mission will not start if you don't have it. And even if you could, there are plenty of missions where you have to pickpocket guards.

The Juicy Jedi jester A sega magazine (I think it was UK) had a contest to find a fake character names Rancal (or something like that) who was pretty much a Green Knuckles with spikey sphere feet. Later someone found a Green Knuckles in a level (I think hydrocity). Though Sega Magazine said it wasn't Rancal and instead a visual glitch that made a Green Knuckles. The contest was a prank btw.

What is the minimum amount of gold needed to beat Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (All campains if possible?)? The only gold that doesn't count is the gold defeating bosses, and if you can't avoid gold, just keep a total of what the minimum amount required is. Also, if you do collect any gold on accident, then you can leave the stage and the gold won't count. You can also wait for Gold from enemies/blocks to despawn. EDIT: Also, collecting Music Sheets, Cipher Coins, Red Skulls and relics (Plague Knight) is aloud, but you cannot use them to get new items. Same applies for gold you get from bosses. The only way to get items is if you can get them without having to give gold for them (e.g. the meal tickets at the end of each section of Shovel of Hope, you can use the wisps for Spectre Knight if you want, but you don't have to if you want it to be more challenging)
