How the hell did you get that crank timing gear off so easily? DAM! I hink I am gonna have to drill and tap mine to throw a puller on it.

Question, for the lower intake manifold ports, are there only two studs on each side? A total of four studs?

Yep there is 4 studs plus 4 bolts bolts holding the lower intake onto the heads

Hey measure your ring end gaps. The rings may have been too tight for the boost.

Normally a tight ring gap will break the top ringland. The top ring gets hotter and expands more, it butts and/or nips at tdc, piston goes down, ring wants to stay at tdc. This was detonation, tune was crap. The motor i swapped in has been going for 2 years with more boost and less timing
