ZD literally didn’t ledge trap, every time smub was off stage ZD literally backed up and let him back. Zero ftilt and didn’t go for any 2 frames

@@ayar2 Not really, it doesn't have an active hitbox on startup and only has 4 directions. If you think that you really need to go to more tournaments. Saying it is hard to trade with Ridley UpB is like saying it is hard to trade with Fox UpB, same principle the difference is how in the damage you take if you trade. With Ridley there are even more ways to hit him, all due to his size. While he can clip you from under stage he also must be under stage to do so which leaves him vulnerable to an opponent simply attempting a stage spike.

Ridley up- B legitimately has intangibility on the wings, so the hitbox is disjointed. If you try and 2-frame that with most 2-frame options they will not beat it, it generally only loses to other large disjoints like R.O.B. and Seph dair. And in case you're going to question my ethos as well, I'm a PR player, not that it matters. Do your research please

@@subzero9889 I also am PR in my state, regardless it really is as simple as I outlined. You are talking disjoints which is what Ridley up-B loses to, but you seem to the move has a fast start-up. The start-up is extremely slow and with Fox's airspeed could easily hit Ridley before any hitbox exist. Your points would be valid if it were a slower character with no disjoint, but we are talking the fastest faller in the game. Ridley could be at the blast zone and Fox would still be able to hit him before upB is active.

@@sadscientisthououinkyouma1867 There's one simple issue with that, we're talking 2-framing here, so edgeguarding is completely irrelevant here. Besides, fox going super deep to edgeguard Ridley up b is something you will literally never see in higher level play, that strategy is needlessly risky and any chances of success are finicky at best reward wise.

Masks are required at most tournaments. (Well I say required but it tends to not be enforced) Events with large numbers of people close together are inherently gonna be kinda dangerous especially when you're frequently interacting with the same people, it's mostly just to be safe. If one person gets it, it could likely spread
