Honestly it likely came down more to MKLeo's conditioning rather than Prodigy being anywhere near his skill level. MKLeo has a ton of matchup experience with Marios who play the exact same. Prodigy does have an unorthodox style compared to players like Dark W., Masta, Zenyou, etc. Leo was too conditioned to the typical mario style and didnt adapt quick enough.

Slowed the video down to 0.25 speed to look at 11:34 Absolute bullshit game jank. He was 100% way past the range chroms recovery hitboxes are suppose to have. Literally none of those hits even touched Mario except the very last one when he's sucked in despite all the hits not making contact.

the last hit of the spin is the one that sucks you in and down, so it's just you not having good knowledge about Chrom's hitboxes. Also, hitboxes usually exist outside of the attack animations as well to ensure they hit smaller hurtboxes. Just look at the hitbox visualisations by UFD

First of all, the last hit being the one that sucks you in is irrelevant, he was out of range from the beginning and none of the hits leading up to it should have happened. I've been trying that mario combo @ 0:52 , I put the damage @ 26% on Chrom and I can't up air him in time before he lands on the ground. Can anyone else do this combo? Combo only works between 30-40%. He was at 26% and he knew downthrow would put then into that range so he could get the combo. Any percent after that up-air sends them to high to true combo it. It’ll take some time to get the timing right :)
