His Wario* is very strong and nice to watch (he beat Zomba with it before as well) but sadly the main reason Steve is so used and so useful is that he is the best character in the game no question asked. He certainly wouldn't be beating Gluto in the Wario ditto and Sisqui would be way harder as well and things like that. It's almost sad to see how many match up Steve just makes easier to win. *edited from Steve, wanted to write Wario here, accidentally wrote Steve

@@ax8914 no way with Rob for sure, Rob is top tier but if your not playing him well enough you can definitely get bullied in the match ups. Just as he has shown when he beat Zomba in Wario - Rob, Game and Watch is more debatable for sure, don't know how well G&W truly does against Samus. I know the match up is pretty tough for Wario but not completely impossible. I know that Wario Steve is hell notably because you have to adapt Player to player as shown by glutonny almost beating Acola then losing 3 - 0 to another Japanese Steve player twice. And by the fact he is starting to pick up a snake basically just for that match up, which is the first time I truly seem him trying a counterpick, outside of going wolf for one game against Sonix before switching back.

Looks like TamaP got tilted after having 4 kill confirms in a row not work and then getting cheesed by ps2 stage being abdolutely hell for bayor recovery. Its a roof and has a pixel where she wall clings instead of grabbing ledge. You can see thats why crepes backair kills instead of flubs. Easy 3-0 if not on ps2. Then playing tilted against wario, Kazuya, luigi, steve, game n watch or sonic you're in for a bad time

The Wario pick was smart because TamaP has a lot of steve experience from fighting Acola and miyas Steve a lot. Meanwhile he doesn't have a lot of Wario experience lol

I can't see Gluto losing this tbh, he has way too much Bayo experience now he is way past his Bayo losing days. He went from losing to Blum to 3-0ing him on a consistent basis. Although ever since changing his controller his results have struggled a bit.

Yeah because his results are great and he is a great player. If you count this to be a opponent you should never lose to if your top level then Spargo lost in pools this season in Japan, and I haven't heard much about lights but wouldn't be surprised if something happened there. Could applaud Crepe for the performance rather than spitting on TamaP for losing.

It was in terms of European tournament results that he got outdone, but still Second best European in the world which probably the region with the most Bayo experience at top level (thanks Bloom for being in like every top 8 for however long) and with the Bayo Wario match up being very developed at that point by both Gluto and Bloom, Crêpe certainly has what it takes to know the Bayo Wario match up.

TamaP doesn't know the Wario match up, and McLeod and spargo both lost to random players in other tournaments, this affected their placement but not by much. Just because he lost 3 games in a row doesn't he should get a worse placement you mf.
