I'll add 1981 Utopia for Intellivision, one of the first city construction games and possibly the first sim game for a console. 1982 Jungle Hunt from Taito and Burger Time from Data East, Rivar Raid from Activision for Atari 2600. 1983 Archon: The Light and the Dark from EA for C64 1984 Impossible Mission and Summer Games from Epyx for C64, Karateka from Broderbund for Apple II, Sabre Wulf from Ultimate Play the Game for ZX Spectrum 1985 Space Harrier and Hang-On by Yu Suzuki and AM2 1986 Defender of the Crown from Cinemaware for Amiga 1987 Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 from Taito, IK+ from System 3 for C64 and Amiga, Dungeon Master from FTL for Atari ST 1988 Winning Run from Namco, the first polygonal 3D arcade racing game, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders from Lucasfilm for C64 and Amiga

38 year old. My game : 1990 The Princess, KungFu Master. DOS PC/ no mouse. 1992 Tetris brick game. 1994 Super Mario Bros, Contra Nintendo. 2002 PS1. Final Fantasy VIII. 2024 PC Single Player & multi player. wz2100, 0ad.

I started playing Videogames in 2001... Including late 90s games. I think the 90s are the decade videogames made the most critical progess. As a 90s teen I would have experienced the evolution of 3D games and thus the start of most of the still today relevant genres like 3D adventures, Egoshooters and generally titles with a complex openworld (yet complex openworld maybe just started in 2001 with games like GTA3 or Gothic 1).

Fact check on Punch-Out coming out for NES in 1983 as the video indicated? I know Mike Tyson's Punch-Out for NES didn't come out until 1987 and I'm pretty sure that was the first NES version. There was Punch-Out that came out in the Arcade in 1984 but it definitely didn't look like the NES version that the video was displaying.
