you gotta know how advanced and good these tracks were at the time. video games these days just steal tracks from already composed songs and mix it in and don't even thing for a second they couldn't do that 15 years ago before the age of dvds and gigabytes of data. at the time the n64 couldn't hold that music data for music soundtracks. with the limited options, they did really good on these soundtracks. this music is epic and inspiring and brings back memories of the first few n64 games i played as a kid.

I love this theme! It has a harsh and unforgiving feel, just like a desert should, as deserts are generally harsh and unforgiving climates. There's feelings of determination and a hint of desert flair without going overboard.

Play this audio track with only the left audio plugged in. I think it adds a really interesting spin on the track. I first discovered this different vibe when I had my drivers-side door open and heard it.

top gear rally on the nintendo 64 was a promise that didnt promise unfortunately. However the handling was superb even if the trees look like jelly. The music was absolutely incredible on the european version in my opinion. I as other people have said still play this today completed it many times but just think its an awesome racer for the n64. I remember seeing some before finished screens of this in a uk magazine and it didnt disappoint that much when it came out. One thing I also love about this game is the atmosphere, not just the driving experience, which kemco and nintendo somehow achieved, even if you could throw your car over to the left and cheat!!

pior que a limitação do n64 não era muita e era bem relativa, quem trabalhava em cima conseguia um kbps bem superior a de um console de cd da época... tanto que tem jogo que a extração original ultrapassa 1400kbps, enquando um ps1 por exemplo, no pau da goiaba dava 126kbps, estando agressivamente abaixo... o que limitada o n64 era a database mesmo, de selecionar instrumentos para por na memória, mas qualidade de som podia chegar a amplitudes absurdas se a empresa produtora de tal jogo se dedicasse a tal, mas ia comer bastante espaço do cartucho... raros os casos de ter musica overtop de som e o jogo ser gigante, como aconteceu no turok 2 com o blind ones boss ou o majoras mask com algumas musicas tb...

Não era limitado pra áudio não, tinha qualidade até superior a seus concorrentes q usavam cds! Mas os cartuchos tinham limites de armazenamentos sim!! A Nintendo teve a chance de monopolizar a indústria de games se tivesse colocados cds no N64 em vez de cartuchos! Porém o lado bom foi a concorrência, foi bom ter Sony, Sega e Microsoft na briga, quem ganha somos nós! A Nintendo é muito dura e fechada, talvez não seria uma boa ela tivesse monopolizado!

Ugh, I couldn't even begin to count the number of times I got FUCKED on this track. Easily the hardest track on the game. Worse than Mountain, far worse. The number of times I was nearing the end of the third lap, in first place, then BOOM, one bad crash and it's a reset.
