Hey I just bought this camera from Goodwill, they told me it worked, it didn't come with an ac adapter or batteries though, would you happen to know the name of the ac adapter plug type, or the name of the batteries, I've been looking so hard, but can't be sure if it is the right stuff even when I look up the model number... I would appreciate so much if you could tell me anything you know, thanks so much

Here is the battery type with a link to the place where I bought mine - SPS Brand 12V 2.3Ah Camcorder Replacement Battery for Quasar VM24AC Video Camera - www.amazon.com/Quasar-VM24AC-Camcorder-Replacement-Battery/dp/B07HFJLSZX Here is the AC adaptor info. I couldn't find one for sale, but they really aren't rare. I have a Panasonic and a GE Camcorder of the same vintage (the Quasar is easily my favorite) and they all use the same battery and AC adaptor, which makes it much easier to find. It might be worth buying a "for parts only" camcorder package off eBay or something if it has the right adaptor (which you can kind of tell if it takes the "slide-in", thin, brick-style battery.
