Great video. Couple of tips for what you discussed. On your padding if you still have them for the front get some 3M spray on glue and let it sit for a few minutes until it gets tacky and it will stay on for years. I did it on my vide and I catfish and it is stored outside most of the time and has not even budged. Another issue you had was with the rod holder covers. Easy fix with velcro from Lowes. Cut a small piece and stick on the the flap and it will not pop up while your traveling. Hope this helps your issues.

Been fishing for 2 yrs in my SG 13. Upgraging constantly with all your mods. Wesley Nowley has the lid hinge kit I bought. The alum rails are a great idea. I used paracord, but will replace. Thanks. UR right, Great Yak!

Great video! I have the Sea Ghost 110 and really like it too. I found some good deck pad at Austin Canoe and Kayak, and it stuck very well. I need to change out my rudder cable and add that hinge-it sounds like those mods help out alot! Thanks for the good info here.

Hey your welcome. I don't use deck pad now, Ive been doing alot of catfish-ing and as you know there slimy buggers. Anyhow its alot easier to hose down with no deck pad. One other addition you might wanna add it an anchor trolley. This is the first yak i've had it on and frankly...its great. If there is anything else Ive done that youd like a video on let me know. Everything is done but I can go over it completely if ya like

I got more then i paid for it but not what i had into it. If you do upgrades right, no cobeling ur get a fair price as long as its in great condition. If ya dont do things right, people can see it and run for the exit....quality sells, junk doesnt

Amazon on the decals, just google shark decal. The sea ghost uses decal size C. I bought a ramp kit from amazon too, then bought some good 2x8s, treated if poccible

Love how your kayak looks... Did you spray paint those yak attack fish and emblems? I did not think stickers would stick that well. For your deck pads... If you want to try again... Before you apply them just spray the bottom of the pad with some 3M 77 adhesive spray. I saw another video where this was recommended. I just put them on my SG130 so we'll see how they hold up. Thanks for putting the video together... It was great! Have a great summer in the water!!

I wasnt really liking the deck pads anyway. I got the bone fish decals off amazon as well as the yak attack. They stick great until you start beating them up on ADA launches rocks and anything else. Thanks for the comments. I have a couple more videos on some upgrades I am going to do this week so stay tuned

I never did, extremely stable. I actually liked it so much thinking of getting another but Vibe never answers the phone so I dont know whats up, ended up getting something else, I would have bought another vibe if I could have bought one somewhere. Only thing I have seen with a higher weight rating is a Hobie. I ended up getting a WS A.T.A.K. but it is substantially heavier :-(

I've had 2 kayaks since the Vibe...at the time Vibe didn't have pedal drive so I have since moved on, they may by now. With all the features, storage, great tracking, weight capacity and stability...the Vibe Sea Ghost 130 is without a thought the best paddle only Kayak I've owned without question

Great vid! I was lucky enough to get a brand new SG 130 last week for $650 cash due to minor scratches! I am still confused myself. Anyway, I love what you have done to yours. I may have more questions later but any assistance on how to look up the hinge you put on the middle console would be great. Also looking forward to the rudder cable vid as that seems to be one of the only flaws this kayak may have. Thanks!

I've got the 110 and fish in the high position almost exclusively. It's not tippy at all. In fact, I've never rolled this kayak. At 250lbs, I can stand and fish comfortably without worry of tipping.

@@cjstewart7979 Inland River, smaller lakes, and Ponds I always use the high position. Its really a better veiw then the low position. Only time I use the low position is when out on the Great Lakes mid day as it gets pretty choppy to say the least

I dont recall the length but I got the aluminum strips from home depot in a 4' length and I cut to length with a hack saw. I'm thinking if there 1.5" wider then the slot on each side that would be fine

For the most part everything came from amazon and thank you for the compliment. I have since bought a wilderness Radar 135 it is not as fast and does not track as well as the vibe, but I bought it for the pedal drive which cancels out the disadvantages. You will love the Vibe sea ghost 130 I assure you

Really nice review! I'm waiting to more on the Vibe 125. The main bum for me on the 125 is it seems to not have any storage compartments. I'm not sure why they went that route. Have you thought about installing the Bixby motor on yours?

Dom Bogey I drilled a hole for the transducer wire, then cut a slot so you can slide wire into the hole otherwise yo need a big hole to get cable end through. Also drill another hole as a ventso water will rise in to submerge transducer. As yo you transducer needs to be in water to work. If that doesnt make sense let me know

Looking at upgrading my Kayak. Saw a sea ghost 130 for sale. I’m also 230lbs, and looking for a kayak that doesn’t stay wet like my current one. Does this fill with water when scupper plugs are not installed? Thanks for the great video!

I'm actually 244, along with at least 50# of gear...still easily 6" out of the water. Scuppers out may get a trickle now and then. If this is your only issue....buy it you won't regret it.
