I think their reaction was the most appropriate one for this song because they understand rap and hip hop, and they obviously know their shit. Like yeah, Kendrick wouldn’t just say all this stuff to gain some internet points. He 100% believes everything he’s saying, and his words carry power because he obviously has inside information- as made obvious by the picture, but also because of his previous music. He’s trustworthy, so his accusations, as alleged as they are right now, have impact for those who know him. I don’t think we’ll see the repercussions immediately, but i think we will see them in the not so distant future. Drake’s comeback of ‘im too famous’ makes me think he thought he could get away with this shit, but at some point he will get what he deserves. Also, it’s very telling that besides the ‘im too famous to be a pedofile’ he does nothing else to defend himself against all the fucking allegations Kendrick threw at him, like, my dude, work harder to make me believe what Kendrick is saying about you isn’t true.

This is the proper human response to the allegations brought up. When Kendrick brought up Kat Williams, I knew something deeply disgusting was about to be revealed.
