Hot take I really loved this season, the meta to me was balanced (except for the charge smg), and introduced Evie into the game who happens to be one of my comfort girls from the game. But I do understand your reasonings.

This was also the season where Epic Chose to remove imoposters over Party Royale. I hated that Epic removed a loved mode over a hated mode.

Literally the season that made me fall out of love with the game. Thankfully Chapter 4 Season 1 fixed that.

I liked the map and the constantly changing POIs were cool but the loot pool was mid despite how good the Hammer AR was. The summer is when a majority of my friends don’t play and it makes the game feel kinda lonely for me. I think if I actually played with more people I would have liked it. Ballers were cool, POIs were good, the loot pool was mid, the summer event didn’t happen, and it just felt like a goodbye party for Donald Mustard. Being able to steal loot from reality saplings was stupid though. Side note: freeing the Ghost and Shadow Henchmen from their cave in Reality Falls was really cool. When they went around the island in Season 4 to pick up their other henchmen friends, it really felt like old FN.

I didnt even know the Donald Mustard thing, but I still think this season was pretty good (4 casuals, since Im one.) The reality saplings and their loot were a bit op, but every1 had acces to them. As for the lootpool, I actually liked it (DMR, Two shot, AUG). I loved Darth vader and the map Gimmick he brought with him. But lets all be honest. Fortnite is always good when we are playing it together with friends.

Also, it was bullet travel guns, only thing good that came from this season was the doom even for the marvel season.

The *only* reason I played this season as much as I did was for Vader. Playing S3 burnt me out and I didn’t play S4… looking back on it if I had the choose between him or Spider Gwen I probably would’ve gone with the ladder, feel like I woulda used her more since Season 1’s super style spidey is still one of my mains today.

Surprisingly I'm one of the few people who love this season. Personally, it's my favorite. Some parts of the lootpool were bad, but I liked the charge SMG. It was weird but somehow I managed to use it well. I'm also a bit of a sucker for map changes, so seeing consistent map changes was great (wish they still did those).

Also one of the best drop spots then was with Paradigm and rotating towards Logjam Lotus, fighting Darth Vader on the way if he was there.

I didn't play back then but judging by the background footage, if this is the season that introduced the Striker Burst and Hammer ARs, along with DMRs as a weapon class, I am automatically biased towards this season lol (edit: DUDE)

Finally someone who says something valid chapter 2 season 2 is by far my favorite season of all time cuz the gameplay was good and yeah the season got dragged out and got boring but that season started something new it forced us to enjoy the game in different ways. Like I ended up doing random memes in games I made shops for people to get guns cuz that season was so long and boring at the end I ended up enjoying being creative.

I didn't even thought someone likes it purely out of Donald...I have Outstanding Fortnite takes, this season IS good compared to many...Map carried HARD, It was updated every 2 weeks, New locations that changed each game. The Guns were weak but I don't care about weapons in any season. I can kill with anything.

​@remrants I'm not saying you're wrong, I've been playing since day one, but this wasn't as bad as you made it seem. Charge SMG if you knew how to use it, it was busted af. I was the only person to ever pick it up. It was insanely broken, just no one knew how to optimize it. Also, it was a unique season, they needed a filler for c3. Loot pool was not bad. Hammer AR (Goated), Pump (eh). Return of Splashes. Chili Splashes. Like this season was good, for it's own reasons. Wrecked is the worst season ever created. Primal is better than it. Primal wasn't that bad

I don't understand why you think reality saplings ruined the season? I certainly did not enjoy chapter 3 season 3 but reality saplings were not the issue, they were in the beginning but only for like, 4 days before being nerfed down to only give you one gold weapon instead of 3, they were often not even worth going for at that point, I know I didn't bother, also because there were so few good weapons that season the singular gold weapon might not even have been worth picking up. It wasn't even possible to get the striker burst out of the saplings for example. Tbh I remember people talking about the saplings at the end of the season as an underbaked feature because it was overpowered then immediately underpowered. Again, I don't like this season but your main reasoning sounds like the thing that was an issue for less than a week of the season which confuses me. Everything else I can agree with though!

I dont think it was exactly bad as nothing like mechs or cars were in. It was just mid. guns felt basic and overall everything was basic. It felt like one of the earlier season of fn like s3. It was fun once in a while and with friends though

@spidy_zihi Imo nah. Ar Lootpool was trash, the only AR your prob picking up is the Combat. The Cars gave me PTSD, while Nitro Fists was an unbalanced mobility item. Nitro was a cool feature, but was overpowered (but it got nerfed so it was fine later). The BP was kinda trash as we got a reskin of Brite Bomber and rust.

What the heck are you smoking this is the 3rd best season ever made? It had a Awesome lootpool, including my favorite shotgun of all time the two-shot shotgun, it had the dragon ball collab, the ballers returned, the reality tree was one of the best poi's ever made, it had the tilted voting and a decent story. The cosmetics were strong that season and it was the most summer summer season ever. Post video watch review: I think most of your points come down to skill issue. You clearly didn't put the time in to learn the new guns and to find ways to use the lightsaber and stuff. Calling the season flawed is ok because it was meant to be this way. Most of the guns being gold right from the get go is a bit busted but it made a way more chaotic gameplay loop that felt unique at the time. The guns we're way more balanced then it was the season prior the actual worst season chapter 3 season 2. Anyways you're entitled to not like something but calling this the worst season is flatout wrong.
