Jesus! I'm 46, listened to Vic for decades and here I am in my bloody garage with tears in my eyes seeing this for the first time. I miss having him around!

My Grandma raised me and this song always reminded me of her. Today we buried her next to my Grandpa in our family cemetery.. Now the only thing I can do is listen to this over and over. Merry Christmas y'all.

I recently talked to my moms about Vic, told her about how he died and I couldn't stop crying, I was breathing super heavy and I've never had those emotions while talking about any other musician I love who passed away. Vic was the man, one of a kind. I'm upset to have learned Vic lived in Athens, Ga. Less than an hour from where I live and I never got to see him live. :(

I love reading the comments, as I am so glad that Vic's reputation continues to grow. I attended many, many concerts between 1995-2009, and Vic and his music have meant so much to me. I am an academic, a prof, who specializes in poetry. Vic was a great poet and a gift to the world.

It's not easy ~ he was a gorgeous man and we lost him far, far, far too soon. This one's especially poignant for me, as I cared for, and subsequently lost my own 'Granny' to cancer 3 years ago. I listened to this a lot in the years I looked after her; tears in my eyes; often numb with booze. I cried a sink of tears when she died, just as I had done when Vic passed.
