We have tickets to see Gillian and Dave soon. They haven’t been out touring since covid. We bought the new album and when we got word that they are playing some shows, we got tickets! My wife and I try to learn a few of their songs. It’s music therapy and it’s fun. We just try to learn how to fly around the way they do. So nice.

So beautiful. Their performances are even more amazing when you realize they're playing unamplified guitars into stage mics. And Rawlings' guitar is a 1935 Epiphone Olympic he rescued off the floor in a friend's garage.

These two are best musician-singer-composers since the Beatles. Look at how they face into one another, look at one another, and become one singer and player. They sing this piece in unison during the verses; they are perfectly in tune. They nail their pitches again, again, again. Their harmonies melt my heart. Wow!

I only recently came across this masterpiece. It's been on my mind ever since. The performance is stunning, and the quality of the recording is incredible ... but THE SONG... the song is firmly planted in my mind. This song absolutely gutted me the very first time I heard it. My first listen through Harrow & Harvest. I got to this track, and I just kept replaying it. Later played it for a musically gifted singer and friend who'd recorded some albums. He sat there nodding and said, "I like the way they doubled her vocals." I grinned and said, "Huh-uh. That's her *and him*. Probably live in the studio." Thrilling to see them do it live. And the song STILL guts me. One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Thanks for posting it.
