In terms of the Vic Firth MTS1 tenor sticks, I think you should really get these for your Tenor Line!
As you see in the video, you can easily use them for practice on a pad and then use it on a Tenor Drum no problem!
What are your favorite implements to use on Quads?

They're pretty short. Thickness is relatively similar to most marching sticks

I personally prefer the mallets because i like the loud sound they produce, they make good scrapes because of the cookie beads, they have a comfortable grip, and there more durable.

Personally, I really like the Ike Jacksons from innovative and the TS8 from Promark. I like the nylon sort of coin bead that a lot of tenor sticks have but I don't like light weight sticks. I feel like any bit of chops I could gain, I don't. But these are perfectly usable tenor sticks. Better than using snare sticks imo. And I hate mallets unless they're wood shaft, they buzz too much in the hands; feels like a goddamn meat tenderizer after a rehearsal.

Haha meat tenderizer. I used those metal ones growing up. It never bothered me. Maybe didn't know anything else

@@KarlDrumTech Probably, I've used all three, not a fan of mallets. I don't like the rimshot sound of mallets either
