Keith Many thanks for this video and gpx file. It was a bit hard to see which sections of the ride were steepest eg the ‘slippery little hill’, the spent hour on this hill’. Thanks again. David.

Great ride and excellent video. Pretty sure I came past you in Erica as you were about to head off, I was riding a red and white tenere 700 and my mate behind me was on a tiger 800. We ended up at Kelly's Hut for the night. The weather got wild that night. I could see you had a good group bikes(all I can see was orange anyone would think you were doing a ktm day) and blokes and were prepared for some fun. Cheers

Really enjoying your videos Keith! Well done indeed. About to pull the trigger on a new 500 EXC-F after a 15 year break from riding dirt bikes. Based in Melbourne as well.... Another great vjd. What tyres did you decide to use for this type of terrain. I have an SWM 500. Looking for tuffer tyres for the power and rockier terrain.

I use Pirelli Scorpion Rally front. The Bridgestone X30 mid-hard is an excellent rear, but not as hard wearing as the Dunlop D606.

What the reason for having too gps units one zoomed in the other zoomed out

Zoomed in shows the next corner... how tight it is. Gives you a little bit of advance warning. Zoomed out shows the next major intersection, or town... I just like knowing where I am in the bigger picture!
