Yes you do have to adjust everything to inflation. i think it is pretty obvious, that’s the whole point js to adjust all of your investments to inflation

But to what inflation? CPI? That’s not inflation..M2 or M1? I adjust everything to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is my hurdle rate, I don’t use any other metric!

I think that this guy is being a bit too cautious in his attitude of “giving advice.“ I am also an attorney, and when I talk with somebody who is not my client, and I am giving them my opinion on a matter that is clearly not legal in nature, I don’t worry about it. It is very clear from the context that you are not rendering legal or investment advice. I am strongly of the opinion that no legal ethics board with sanction and attorney in anyway for giving what is clearly his or her own personal opinion to non-clients about non-legal matters.
