In 2006, ADV Films dubbed Super Dimension Fortress Macross, the first Macross series ever made, which was in 1982, Vic Mignogna voiced the main protagonist himself, a boy named Hikaru Ichijyo. And in that same anime, Monica Rial voiced one of his love interests and arguably the main female protagonist, a girl named Misa Hayase, who was Hikaru's commanding officer. Eventually, they became in love with each other after their first kiss, in which they were forced to do so because they were captured by their enemies, the Zentradi. But despite their differences, they grew to love one another. And since 2019, it became a whole lot harsher in hindsight because Monica Rial was only pretending to be Vic's friend and became an SJW who lies about him and believes in others lying about him. You know, ever this guy was wrongfully fired by FUNimation and Rooster Teeth since 2019, the American voice acting industry has gone downhill even more than it did in 2015 when FUNimation (and to an extent, Sentai Filmworks) decided to add woke translations in their dubs. You know what's ironic? Vic could have been the savior the American voice acting industry needed if he were a voice director at FUNimation by firing those who are woke and against him, like Jamie Marchi, Monica Rial, Chris Sabat, etc. Just like Jesus was the savior of humanity.
