Your Vic3 modding tutorial videos are helping me a lot! Also, I found an easier way to replace videos to pictures: event_image = { video = "gfx/event_pictures/event1.bk2" } event_image = { texture = "gfx/event_pictures/event1.dds" }

I realized that we don’t need the directory for video. It’s only by writing the name of the video without the suffix “.bk2” 😅 the icon didn’t change when I changed it to “.bk2”. The video didn’t played.

If you are confused why your events don't trigger, even though they meet the trigger requirements: Add a new folder to the commons folder named "on_action". Ad a file and put in the following code (add the id of every event you created and want to trigger automatically: on_monthly_pulse_country = { events = { my_events.5 my_events.6 my_events.7 my_events.8 } random_events = { } } The game should now check these events every month (you can change it to on_yearly_pulse_country too I think) and activates the events that meet the trigger requirements.

Hi, Yes I stopped making videos. If you want to create flags for HOI4 you can use the Iron Workshop Flag Creator tool which will just require you to link to an existing flag file and it will do the rest Link to download here: github.com/PlayerHOI/IWFC/releases/download/v1.3/Flag.Creator.Public.rar
