I'd add just a few things: The 12th House should also be understood as *personal danger*: things that are directly, intentionally trying to hurt you, not only externally (personal enemies, evil witches, demons, envious people) but also internally (vice, sins, self-harm). That's why it's called the "Bad Spirit", to imply an intended agency behind it. In comparison, the 6th House would represent impersonal danger, things that hurt you simply because of chance (Bad Fortune), like thieves, illnesses, natural disasters, and warfare. On that reason, the 12th should also represent "unnatural disasters", like curses and possessions by demons. Because of th 12th's position in heavens and its association with the feet, the 12th house should also means "being trampled under foot", things that can overpower and overwhelm us, like big animals, spirits, or anything too vast for our comprehension (the space, the ocean, the otherworld). Lastly, because the ascendant shows novelty, the 12th house shows what is prior, past, and old: background and antecedents, things before birth, inexistence, events during pregnancy, past lives, forgetfulness and forgotten things, inherited traits, etc. Also prejudice, stubborness, insistence, and recurrent behavior (to not understand or accept the new reality brought by the first house).

i remind myself that the whole sky continually rises in the east, not just the sun. this mitigates any overemphasis on the sun in determining the identity or qualities of the native. granted he _is_ the king of the planets (and natural significator of self, etc.). one knows intuitively--settings aside astrological science--that someone born at sunrise is going to be of a different character than someone born at midnight... even though such persons can be born the very same moment, but in different places. none of that negates what you said of course which was an excellent linguistic and scientific analysis as usual.

If possible in the future, would you mind covering these topics too - Aspects in relation to transits, for eg - how is a square different from a trine when it comes to transits How to read eclipses in different houses and signs Hope to see the videos of Saturn, Venus and Rahu/Ketu in different houses, if you wouldn't mind me saying this, the format you followed for "Jupiter in 8th House in all 12 Signs" was the best one, comprehensive and quick. And if you plan to cover house combinations videos in the future, hope to see 7th house and 10th house combinations with the rest of the other houses soon. I guess because for the majority of people, spousal relationships, purpose and career are the most worrisome topics of life (other than health) Lastly, what more should you see to figure out your purpose in your chart? Fantastic analysis of the 12th house. I would consider myself a newbie but know some. Mars and Uranus conjunct and Pluto 2 degrees away all in my 12 th. My whole life I have felt very alone/ separated. Studying astrology and learning to love myself it all makes sense and I accept myself. Thanks Vic 🙏🏽👍

Ugh, depressing; my prog. Mars and Saturn are in Gem in the 12th to stay for the rest of my life. The Saturn just went over my pro Asc to get there and I have felt ineffectual and beaten down. Unmotivated. Ew and now I just realized tr. Saturn is going into my natal 12th in few weeks.
