New Vice and Mature details!? Well lets deep dive into them! Both Characters are basically "greatest hits" versions of themselves, having a lot of what classically was there, some blasts from the past and a new trick or two to top it off. The original trailer already told me SNK was gonna treat the secretaries well, but with this new footage out there im just plain excited!

Also in the video I gush about Vice EX deicide and what its potentially gonna bring to KoF XV, I plum didnt even think to mention the fact that EX moves are merely half a bar in XV. In KoF 13 ex deicide was fully worth the cost at a full bar, and now you get a major discount? Laughing all the way to the bank on that one

I tend to defend KoF14 when people say it didn’t look good, because I thought it was more fun then a lot of the better looking games around that time. But I’m definitely impressed by how much better Vice’s after image effect and Mature’s slashes look.

I actually booted up KOFXV in preparation for this patch, and man, I forgot how smooth this game still is. Hopefully, Clark, Sylvie and Terry survive the coming patch 😭

another fun thing to note: Mature's cl.D hits low and then high so if she can get a massive combo like that from an empty jump low? holy goddamn moly. they really are just making them Best in Class Secretaries

But Rock is a mid-tier right now, I don't see him getting nerfed at all, especially considering they could take the opportunity to hype him up a bit for COTW promotional purposes. Isla would be okay if she couldn't combo off of her supers, so I hope they change just that. And Shermie's not gonna get nerfed that much I think. Grapplers are supposed to be amazing in KOF. Her regular hits and that special kick she has are definitely gonna get a slight reduction in damage though. Orochi Yashiro is going into the trashbin alongside Benimaru and Ryo though. I can see Chris and Orochi Shermie getting buffed, so there's that, hopefully.

Curious about how strong Mature will be. She was top tier for a hot minute during one of XIV's patches so a "greatest hits" version of her sounds like it should be a viable character as well.

When I say the gameplay video for Mature I was thinking , okay I know what to expect so nothing should surprise me. Literally the 2nd after I said that I saw Mature do the start up for her projectile and then cancel it. I throw my phone across the room and said there’s no way the have her the ability to do that. I must have missed seen it, and to go back a few seconds and see that I was correct. Like, Dang SNK, you didn’t have to let Mature be even more disgusting and good. I appreciate it, I really do, but that was a straight up War Crime. Not to mention she’s going to be Side switching monster and I love it. I’m going to be doing some disgusting things with her in XV. I just wish Mature had her Snakearm move she had in 98 or 2002 but honestly she doesn’t need it.

Now, just hear me out... please, PLEASEPLEASPLEASE give Darli a 2C hitbox that matches the animation so she can have 1(one) measly anti-air normal (and if you're feeling generous, please undo the ner to shermie's 5B where she can't combo into Spiral any more, that was uncalled for)... it's all I'm asking, you don't even need to give Darli any decent confirms, I'm resigned on THOSE not existing..... but... please...

​@@medkiller7638 I am aware Rooflemonger is not a dev but also there is nowhere I could "make a complaint" that SNK would listen to me Even assuming there was, the changes for the patch have already been decided quite a while a go, to believe otherwise is nonsense This is not "complaining", it's some commiseration /wishful thinking etc... Y'know when you're, watching a tournament and you just say out loud "Nooo, use the meter, man!!" That's not something you're complaining about in any realistic sense, it's just about the whole shared experience of entertaining the emotions the thing elicits in you In this specific case, given Rooflemonger is also a Darli enjoyer, from some of his older videos, I'm pretty sure he'd also like to see her getting a bit more spotlight in KoF (it's been rough for her from the start, tbh). Plus, y'know... anyone in the comment section who is also dreaming about "please buff the character I like". We all know we're not saying this REALLY to anyone in specific, especially to SNK (or at least I assume we're all clear on this, lol) But sure, if he ever express annoyance at this sort of interaction then I'll refrain from doing so in the future

In a way it IS direct to SNK, but I'm skipping the middle man and putting my suggestion/wish straight into the shredder where they would put it, lol As for specificity... It's kinda criminal that Darli doesn't have ANY sort of anti air buttons (and her DP is basically just for combos, the hitbox is atrocious for actual defensive use). But that 2C just SCREAMS being an anti-air button until you check Dreamcancel or something and see just how removed from the graphics the hitbox actually is
