I like a mix myself, you don't have to watch the ones you don't like, at least that's my thinking on it. I skip lots of videos from the channels I subscribe to, after a minute or less, or don't watch at all. From all kinds of different sources, news science, music etc...

@@TheAsianOfChaos as a war reporter, they’re protected under the Geneva convention under civilian identity. If they were holding a firearm or participated in combat, it revokes that status of civilian and whoever you spot will classify you as an enemy. So it’s not wise to carry a gun if you’re a war corespondent or reporter. It’s one of the risk you have to be willing to take, and why I respect this profession so much

@@grungeisdead9541 Fentanyl is a powerful opioid used for pain and surgery. It comes in many forms, mostly transdermal patches for skin use, but it is also made into lollipops because the walls of your mouth are really good at absorbing fentanyl fast. In the picture, the army men have seemingly been shot or injured and have been given fentanyl lollipops. One has one in his mouth and one has one in the background. You can tell it is a fentanyl lollipop because the stick coming off of it has a wider cylinder at the distal end.

I stumbled on this interview. I saw many freelance journalists during my time in Iraq and Afghanistan. I always tell them "We're not the ones going to rescue you if you get into trouble. That's the 'D' boys or 'Tier 1' guys job, not ours..." D boys are USSF Delta or Tier 1, the Navy's SEAL Teams. I was right 50% of the time... Many were kidnapped and only half were rescued or 'recovered.' 68W 1985-2009 18D retired US Army

Join the military. I wish I did. Instead I stayed in my small town joined the volunteer fire department and farmed on the family farm. I really feel like I missed out. I'm now 31 with 4 kids. I'm still Thinking about joining the reserves. Even though I see buddies come back different. IDK I can't help the feeling I could have done more with my life...

You don't even have to join the military if you don't want. I recommend not doing it that way for the main reason that you'll get to own and keep and your photos and be able to release the truth of what you've seen instead of al of your shit automatically belonging to the government. More freedom too. Shoot whenever you want. I forgot the exact term, but you can get a special type of guide to take you into certain areas to document that no one else has accces to.
