Question: Does this boat engine draw its cooling water from the lake? If so, it's possibly still closed from being winterized. Might be a simple matter of removing a plug or opening a valve to let water in. Boatz ain't carz! They differnt!

impeller is dry rotted and flaked to pieces, or the tube from the skeg froze and pushed itself out and the water pump is just pushing the water into the bellows
